About Me

I am a Brooklyn native who spent most of my childhood between Brooklyn and Kingston, Jamaica. My Caribbean culture is a big part of who I am. It shapes my love for dance, spicy food, and my deep commitment to building community.

The most influential force in my life is my mother. She worked tirelessly, often holding two or three jobs while caring for our family. She still found ways to give back, sending barrels to relatives in Jamaica and opening our home to people in need. Watching her lead with resilience and generosity shaped the way I move through the world.

Her resilience and generosity shaped how I show up, how I lead, and how I serve others.

Empathy and compassion drive everything I do.

PROFESSIONAL PATH

For more than 15 years, I have worked in Human Resources, supporting nearly a dozen nonprofit organizations and mission-driven institutions. My work has centered on helping people grow and helping organizations become more welcoming, thoughtful environments where individuals feel valued and supported.

Beyond my formal roles, I have also supported many nonprofit efforts in my personal life because service has always been part of who I am.

What I Do Now

Today, my work sits at the intersection of strategic people leadership and resilience development.

I support mission-driven organizations in building stronger, more thoughtful people systems.

Beyond
Work

Wo

I love word games — especially Scrabble and the New York Times Spelling Bee. I host game nights for family and friends. I love to travel, to dance, and to gather people together.

Community is not just something I build professionally. It is something I live.
